Eric Cormier of Domaine de la Vallée, Memramcook, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the age of 97.

Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Napoléon Cormier and the late Lucie Breau. He was employed as a woodcutter for many years.

He is survived by one daughter, Loretta (late Alyre) Cormier of Breau Creek; four sons, Aurèle (Léona) Cormier of Old Shediac Rd, William (Rosaline) Cormier of Memramcook East, Blair (Pauline) Cormier of Waltham, Mass, Roger (Lelia) Cormier of Billerica, Mass; one half-sister, Marie (late Francis) Belliveau of Memramcook East; one half-brother, Camille Gaudet of St-Joseph; 26 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Daisy (Smith) Cormier; one daughter, Marguerite; two grandchildren; one half-sister, Rita; and three brothers, Henri, Albert, and Emile.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with the Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at 11:00am at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East. Interment in the Parish cemetery.
